Fulfilling their desire for simplicity and functionality, a solution was proposed to extend their patio and seamlessly integrate it with their house by connecting the new structure directly to the existing roof, it created an extension of their living room, offering a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces which is conveniently separated with their existing three-panel sliding glass door.

Looking to complement the architectural style of their home, an exposed wood structure was chosen for the patio.
